Pharrell Williams - recently spied by DiS being utterly crap-o-la at the Wireless Festival - is to appear in a forthcoming advertising campaing for Louis Vuitton. Apparently he makes bags or something.

The producer-slash-notsobrilliantrapper will star in the ads alongside regular clothes horses Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. Yeah they're models, but what's so super about them? Bet they don't even own a cape between 'em.

Should anyone reading this actually care about Williams' much-delayed (well, it seems to have been - we thought it was coming out in February!) solo debut, good news: In My Mind sees the light of day (okay, the spotlights of a music store) on July 25.

If it's as terrible as that live performance, you might want to give it a berth the width of a Giant Haystacks human triangle.

he did play some good NER*D Songs

and there was a group of young ladies having a very fun looking groove near where i was, which was nice for them. Other than that he was a real let down, i mean i had such high hopes for him and his entourage.

the

problem was for most of the songs he played, he was just singing the chorus because thats all he does. He just played the bits he does in N*E*R*D, Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z songs.

He's no-good as a solo live act. he should stick to N*E*R*D performances and solo producing.

And yeah, he only does choruses. He's like Nate Dogg, but without the cool voice.

Leave him alone!!

Although i agree with some of the stuff in this article, like the supermodels, I think your being a bit harsh on Pharrell! I havent seen him perform so I cant comment on that, but the guy has produced soooo many great tunes out there today, so give him a break! The man is a genius!
